Q. Will an SD card programed for a TRX-1 work on a PSR-800? A. YES and NO. This depends on the county(s) that you ordered. TRX-1 can decode DMR and NXDN digital transmissions that the PSR-800 can not. If you put a programed TRX-1 SD card into a PSR-800 and you are in the area of a DMR NXDN transmissions, you will get some odd sounding static. With that said, if no DMR or NXDN are in the county then it will work fine in a PSR-800 other than the signal strength meter will not work correctly.

Q. Where is the SD card slot on my WS 1040/WS 1065 model? A. The SD card we offer for your model is only to hold the programming that you purchased. It also holds the instructions and necessary files/programs so you can properly load the programming into your scanner. There is no SD card slots in these model scanners.
